    A lovely dram.,

    It’s a lovely rum but it’s not as good a Ron Zacapa Reserva limitada or the 25 y/o. Is also say that el dorado 21 is much better and Appleton 21 is better. I love rare rums and single malt whisky not just from Scotland but from around the world and my rum is no different. Each has its own character and its own time to drink wether shared with family and friends or just on your own. Recently I’ve discovered like whisky if you find rum that has been aged or finished in ex cognac or fortified wine barrels the flavour is intense but a good intense not over powering but just tingles your taste buds more than if it had just been in ex bourbon barrels which by the way I’m not a fan of -(bourbon that is but not bourbon matured rums) Please broaden your palate and don’t be scared to try new things as to gain new experience and find new flavours that you wouldn’t of found other wise, rum and whisky and brandy are the best to do this with and it’s great to see if you can find those notes in dark rum, whisky and brandy that have been matured or finished in one of these barrels. TBH the best thing is to sit down with family or friends and pick and talk about these new flavours by a fire and or with a cigar. Fantastic times ! Can’t wait to do it again after Covid.

    Pure Awesomeness... Many others claim to be as good... fancy bottles, 'virgin' sugar cane, Guatemala's finest, 'magical' molases etc , etc... They all fall short .
