The second Farmstock release from WhistlePig, the second step on the journey to producing a whiskey entirely grown, distilled and matured on site at the eponymous farm. This release is a vatting of 32% WhistlePig farm rye whiskey aged for 2-2.5 years, 45% MGPI rye aged for 5-6 years and 23% Alberta Distillers Canadian rye aged for 10 years. The WhistlePig rye gives a fresh and spicy kick to the older whiskey, which plays a supporting role, providing an elegant backdrop for the zesty spirit to dance on.

Nose
Pine jelly, minty dark chocolate, brown sugar syrup, royal icing and layers of soft, oaky spice hiding underneath.

Palate
Leaves and grain lead, with mint and caramel following closely behind. Sweet liquorice builds, with bitter leafiness to balance. Burnt cream a brûlée topping develop.
