An ancient single grain from Cambus, more than three decades in a refill hogshead have leant this spirit a sweetened stewed-fruit character. Combined with sweet cereal notes and savoury, woody spice, this all makes for a beautifully-balanced, richly-flavoured and rewarding whisky.

Tasting Notes

  • Producer's notes

    • The nose shows lightly burnt sugar, maraschino cherries and fresh trifle. The palate is rich with burnt toast, fresh red apple skins and toasted grain. The long finish is vivacious and sweet with a positively dry and dark fruit quality.
