Ron Zacapa Centenario Sistema Solera 23 Rum
Product Description

An awesome rum – winner of a Platinum medal and ranked in First Place by the prestigious Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago, with a whopping 97 points. Interestingly, now that industry giants Diageo are distributing Zacapa, the '23 years old' age statement has suddenly been dropped and replaced with a somewhat more plausible claim – the rums used are aged between 6 and 23 years old and are blended together in a solera.

    Declan Walker,

This rum is great for beginners or dessert but it has a some added sugar and to me feels more like a liqueur than a rum.

    Anonymous,

A beautiful rum smooth and delightful on the palate.

    N Darlington,

A well-deserved full five stars for this. Great to sip, but hard to wait between sips. Delightfully warm with a wonderful long, long finish. Among the best rums I have ever tasted.

    Dave,

This one lacked the complexity I found in Doorly's 12. There's no acidity, but isn't as harsh as the XO. Smooth and like sipping salted caramel. Nothing else beats this for the sweetness, and I'd be sorely tempted to blend this with the doorly's 12!!!! Maybe not the full bottle

    Selwyn Doouss,

A seriously good sipping rum. Very smooth and not too sweet and sugary. One of the best hence all the 5 star reviews.
