Too sharp for sipping. This is only good for mixers. Mezcal sipper. I've tried a variety of different Mezcals from the whiskey exchange and this is by far the sharpest and cheapest tasting, and indeed the only one that I simply can't sip. It should be ok for some strong Margheritas. Mezcal Union compares to Jose Cuervo in terms of how unrefined the taste is. For the same price get yourself "La medida" or "Distilado" in this price-range. They're all in an entirely different category.

Mezcal Unión is absolutely amazing, a perfectly balanced blend of two different agaves. Smooth, elegantly sweet and perfectly smoked, also they are a cooperative with the indigenous communities, had the opportunity to visit their distilleries and is one of the most amazing experiences I ever had. Definitely the best mezcal in my opinion considering quality, flavour and price. Huge fan of it!
