Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting notes by Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange

    • Nose

Dark chocolate flecked with crunchy caramel and drizzled with toffee sauce. Leather sits at the back with some lighter, fruity notes. The fruit becomes green and leafy mint backed up by orange oil.

    • Palate

Thick toffee and spice at first. Chocolate cake and anise spice follow, with grippy oak increasing the intensity. Liquorice and bitter dark chocolate notes sit at the back, with fruitier chocolate and cherry liqueur through the middle.

    • Finish

Mint, dark chocolate and a touch of cherry.
