A young single malt spirit – it's not old enough to be called whisky yet – from Tel Aviv's Milk & Honey Distillery. The team at the distillery like to experiment with casks, and this has been matured in red wine, bourbon and casks that used to hold smoky whisky from Islay. It's a softly smoky and complex drink, with layers of fruit and spice.

    More than acceptable - complex - well balanced - predominantly Islay notes

    Beautifully complexed and a real surprise,...on the Nose, you get honey, dried fruit, a light caramel with mild smokey undertones. On the Palate, fruity, spicy well balanced and the finish is warm and dry with mild smoke flowing over the tongue. Amazing for its age - the triple cask is a little gem and the Tel Aviv climate has certainly added to the superb maturation of this spirit.

    Great easy-drinking single malt. Floral sweetness followed by a subtle smoke which is perfectly balanced. Much more flavour than the age suggests and a great beginners-whisky.
