A popular fortified wine from The English Whisky Company. They shipped over some casks of PX sherry from Spain, used the casks to mature whisky, further fortified the wine with their single malt and then recasked it to mature for a little longer. It's not sherry but it is interesting.

It's an extremely sweet wine, quite dark and texture of liquor. If and when you get over the sweetness you get the grape flavour of the wine and following on the warmth of the whisky. I found it pleasing as something different but not one for several shots as I don't have a sweet tooth. I found it slightly better chilled ie 30 mins in freezer.
I bought this for Christmas 2022 as it seemed like a Christmassy drink. I was right to do so. It was really good and a real hit with us.
My Father got this for Christmas. We both just had a tot, neither of us being a fan of PX Sherry or being Whisky drinkers. Very, very pleasantly surprised. Beautifully smooth, aromatic & easy to drink. We both then had a slightly bigger tot. Such a gorgeous flavour.
