A new entry in Tullibardine's Marquess collection – a new edition of The Murray. Named after Sir William Murray, the second Marquess of Tullibardine, it's a wine-finished whisky, matured first in first-fill American oak barrels before a move to Chateauneuf-du-Pape casks. Following last year's much-loved Murray was always going to be a challenge, and the 2005-vintage is well up to the task, with a rich, weighty and spicy character that shows oodles of wine cask influence.
