Nose
Butterscotch and toffee with lemon boiled sweets. Crunchy candy notes continue, with pear drops, barley sugar and travel sweets. Sweet cream develops.

Syrupy sweet, with the pear drops and barley sugar from the nose up front, with toffee and lemon behind. Darker notes of barrel char and spicy oak build.

Hide the bottle in the freezer for a bit and you'll get a secret message on the label and a different whisky. It's thicker and richer, with a little bit less sweetness and the spice up front.

Short and sweet with butter and pear drops.

I have had 5 bottles of this since it was released, yes the bottle is a gimmick of course it is, to bring it up in a review is immature the scotch itself is lovely especially for those of you who are a fan of a sweet whiskey, I hate smokey whiskey it mostly tastes like burnt wood whereas this is delightful, worth every penny, I will be purchasing a further 4 bottles from here shortly.

Not the best Johnnie Walker I've ever had, but it's still great if you have it straight from the fridge – lots of fruity, sweet notes.

The hate this bottle gets is really undeserved. Of course it's a bit of a gimmick, they're making no secrets of that.

I thought it strange to put whisky in the fridge, but over all it was a very good whisky with a smooth finish.
