    First time I tried this on its own as a sip I didn't 'get' it. It's certainly an acquired taste. Then a bar tender at a promotional stall suggested the only way to drink it is with ginger beer (not ale) and fresh lime. In that mix, it's an absolute taste sensation!

    This is my favourite rum, it tastes like cola cubes. Mix it with Fentimanns curiosity cola and it tastes like sweeties.

    Bought this when it first came out. Truly awful. I've tried many different Spiced Rums and this was just terrible. I tried it on its own, over ice, with coke, with ginger ale. Nothing made it palatable. Foursquare or chairmans reserve are cheaper and far superior.

    Has a bit of a lost identity – flavourful but somewhat over done, it tastes better toned down with ice or water.
