This is a really nice well balanced whiskey, I love the heather ,& slightly smoky taste, a delightful whiskey,,which I would recommend to anyone
most recently I tried this but the bottle of White Label I bought tasted like an Oak barrel. I'm very disappointed it only has one overpowering note: oak. only have a woody note.
Tryed fist time this evening ,it has very smooth taste ,will buy a bottle for myself
This is my favorite Whiskey! Fantastic Scotch.
I'm trying my first bottle of Dewar's White Label this evening. I've been a scotch drinker since I turned 21 (was a vodka drinker since 14) and really enjoy it. I've read the other comments and people seem to compare it to other whiskys, rather than other scotches. So after the aroma test, I poured a scotch and Coke with a squeeze of lemon (and left it in the glass). It's great and doesn't overpower the drink like a bourbon would. I can taste a hint of vanilla and the smokiness comes out even through the cola. I'm not really a shot taker anymore but once the bottle freezes will test it out. I'm honestly surprised I've never heard of this brand before, as I've tried everything I could get my hands on so far, although I have mostly favored domestics.
