Camus Ile de Re Fine Island Cognac is a delightful take on the classic Ile de Re Cognacs, bottled by La Maison Du Whisky for its Through The Grapevine series. Grown on the island, just of the coast of France’s Cognac region, the grapes used for making this spirit are very different from those grown on the mainland. Aged in lightly toasted oak barrels this Cognac has a sweet and fruity flavour profile, with aromas of caramel, peaches and mint on the nose. The palate holds notes of apricots, strawberries and oak, with a salty seaside element throughout.
