Distilled at Glenburgie distillery in 1998, this Speyside single malt was matured in a single hogshead for 20 years, before being bottled in January 2019 for Elixir Distillers' Single Malts of Scotland range. A sweet and fruity whisky, it has aromas of cider apples, blossom honey and lemon sponge. The palate offers notes of cinnamon, biscuits and apricot jam.

    • Nose

      Fizzy nose of citrus, pears and sweet apple cider. Then becomes malty, with some honey thrown in, slowly turning into scented candles and freshly baked cupcakes.

    • Palate

      Quite thick, with an oaky character throughout. Cinnamon pancakes, baklava, green walnuts. Rich tea biscuits, apricot Tarte Tatin. With water – banana peel, more tropical fruit, lemon sherbet.

    • Finish

      Lengthy and relaxed finish – get ready to settle in. Plenty of banana, orange peel, fresh ginger and black tea.
