    As an Ulsterman in exile I have been a Bushmills fan for most of my adult life(72), always been a fan of Black Bush and the matured variations but this liquid amber has stolen the show for me.

    I tried this in an advent calendar. It is true that it is very smooth. However, some mention its sweetness, which, as a Speyside lover, I have not detected. I enjoy both Dailuaine, as well as Talisker - both in their own ways quite character-full - and that is what I find lacking in this sample.

    Tried this over ice. A large one of course. As described. A lovely wee dram. Alex H, You are right about the bottle :)

    Pleasantly surprised. I rather enjoy Peat Whiskey however this one has been really enjoyable. Excellent over ice or a splash of water. Extremely smooth. A lovely sweet honey taste on the end. Coming around the £30 this is definitely value for money. My only gripe is bottle design it's not very friendly in pouring but that is me being critical.
