This 2004-vintage rum from Habitation St Etienne has been aged for eight years in oak barrels, before spending another six months finishing in fino and oloroso sherry casks. The nose is elegant and sweet; notes of raisins, roasted hazelnuts and hints of cigar smoke mix together. The palate is spicy and sweet, notes of oak and warm spices mingle with rich prunes and raisins.
