This 14-year-old heavily-peated single malt is the second whisky in the Balvenie Stories collection – a sweet and smoky whisky that balances earthy peat smoke with the distillery's characteristic citrus edge. Gentle peat smoke, delicate flowers and sweet butterscotch fill the nose, while the palate initially offers notes of sharp citrus, blossom honey, creamy vanilla and rich, earthy peat.
The Balvenie Stories collection is designed to bring to life the tales of 'character, endeavour and craft' of those at Balvenie through the generations. The Week of Peat is inspired by the tradition, started in 2002, of distilling peated malt for only one week every year.
Discover the Balvenie Stories
These unique single malts explore the people, the places and the craftsmanship behind the Balvenie. Each one offers a different take on the distillery’s signature style and each one has a tale to tell.

I'm an Ardbeg fan and I must say this one is neck and neck with the Ugie and the Corry. The only down side is, where I am, it's $10 more expensive than the Corry.
Very unique drink. Smoky and quite smooth.
Excellent dram. Flavors of The Balvenie with a soft whisper of smoke. A must try for all.
An excellent whisky, needs a teaspoon of water to get the smoothest whisky I have tasted in a long time
