A small batch Irish whiskey from Hinch that has been matured in ex-bourbon casks, this has notes of creamy vanilla, honey-nut cornflakes and lively citrus throughout the palate.
More from Hinch
This is a good young Irish whiskey. Different from the likes of Jameson, Bushmills and Powers. It isn't the most complex on both nose and palate. The nose is quite simple with loads of vanilla, cream and a toffee/ caramel note, you can also smell the grain influence on the nose as well as it is very 'bright'. The Palate is also quite simplistic, vanilla and oak spice which covers the entire palate, and hints of toffee as well. The finish is medium length with an almost nutty and dried fruit note. I would definitely recommend you give this a go. I hope this has helped you either tip you towards buying or giving this a miss. Also you cant give a 3.5 rating....
Smooth, good flavours. apple, melon pear. No smoke.
Very enjoyable whiskey and great value for money, highly recommend.
