Pierre Legras was born in 1662 in Chouilly, in the heart of the Cotes des Blancs, 11 generations later Vincent Legras started Pierre Legras Champagne and now owns 10 hectares of land mainly planted with Chardonnay. From the grand cru of Chouilly this beautiful lieut dit is beautifully layered. Brioche, custard, autumn leaves and a hint of umami comes through on the nose and palate. Try this with an aged Gouda.
