This Speyside single malt has been matured in a combination of American oak casks and a variety of sherry casks. This is a fruity, rich whisky with aromas of raisins, orange and vanilla. The palate offers notes of dried fruits, warm spices and rich caramel.

    This is a very good whisky, for what you pay you would think it was much more expensive than it is. Very smooth and easy to drink with a lump of ice. Value for money a wonderful bottle

    Tamnavulin Sherry is a fantastic discovery, with a very affordable price. Compared to other, more fancy malts from Speyside, Tamnavulin is cheaper and better. There is a big punch of fruity, oaky aromas. Wouldn't say it is too smooth, but the taste and aftertaste... probably it's richer, than anything you've tried before. In the end, Tamnavulin Sherry represents incredible balance between aroma, taste and aftertaste. It worths to try!

    Got a litre bottle today to try. This is youngish but full of flavour and a great finish. Dried fruits, Vanilla and spices galore. For price it is a fabulous whisky, which could improve a lot with another few years in bourbon casks before its sherried.
