Distilled in April 1973, this single malt from Tomintoul distillery was initially matured in an ex-bourbon barrel, before being moved to an oloroso sherry hogshead. After 45 years in oak it was bottled in September 2018, with aromas of sweet malt, waxy oranges and Christmas pudding filling the nose. The palate offers notes of roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, coffee beans and oak spice that linger in the finish.
