In the 1960's Jean Velut and his wife had to give up their farm land near the city of Troyes. They instead moved to land they held in Champagne and decided to develop a vineyard. Today they have seven and a half hectares of land and farm this sustainably. Very bright vibrant fruit with a chalky character behind notes of pink grapefruit and pink lady apples. This makes a delicious aperitif.
