First, I should say I really do not like white wine and I do not like sweet wine. This is the perfect blend of the Glenmorangie 10, 12 and 14 year expressions. Plus all of the best elements of a good sweet white wine. The only word I can use to describe this is delightful. It smells like an expensive white wine. It is the quintessential taste of LVMH in a bottle. It tastes expensive. Three times the price. Which is an ironic contradiction. I see claims that single malts taste like lemon, vanilla and cream. Easy to say, but this actually does taste like lemon, vanilla and cream. Plus the tannins you can only get in high quality expensive white wines. Without considering the price, I would drink this every day. Forever. That perfect dry raisin wine taste lingers longer than anything else I’ve ever tasted.
An exceptional piece of work!! if you have a sweet tooth.... this is one of the best! Easy and smooth with a wonderful and lasting aftertaste.
This is my husbands favourite whisky. When in Scotland we pop into Glenmorangie to stock up! According to him. no other whisky comes near!
Sweet and citrusy whiskey with a very unique nose. The palate is a twist on the typical highland with more lemon and orange peel while still keeping the floral notes that whiskeys of this kind are known for. That said the finish is kind of disappointing and leaves a slightly unpleasant bitterness. Still recommend for its uniqueness.
This a present for my husband at Christmas, by all accounts it’s a sweeter whisky so hopefully he will like it. Happy Christmas
