Made at Clynelish distillery in 2005, this 14-year-old Highland single malt was bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in June 2019, exclusively for The Whisky Exchange's 20th anniversary celebrations. Matured in a single refill hogshead, it has aromas of honey-glazed nuts, salted caramel, sugared almonds and marmalade on croissants throughout the nose. The palate offers notes of orange, oatcakes, dark chocolate, raisins, cinnamon, barrel char and liquorice, before sweet cocoa and icing sugar develop in the finish.

    Anonymous,

    Clynelish is one of my favourite whiskies and this one did not disappoint. It is fruity but the high alcohol content dictates that you must add some water and leave for a while. I found the most prominent aroma is that of orange. The aftertaste is smooth and long. This is an absolute must for any Clynelish fans. 9/10.
