The second whisky in the Bowmore Vault Edition series showcases the distillery's smoky character and balance of sea salt and sweet fruit flavours. Aromas if peat, ash, toffee, leather and sea salt mingle with herbal hints of thyme, rosemary and mint on the nose. The palate offers notes of sweet sherry, sticky fruits, barbeque smoke and volcanic ash, with an undercurrent of smouldering driftwood.

    Having already enjoyed Edition 1, I had to try Edition 2 & was not disappointed. An excellent peaty whisky with an aftertaste of toffee & salt. I highly recommended it!

    I absolutely love this Second release. Smell is sweet, and when you swirl it in your mouth the toffee comes through. Then as you swallow it changes to a lightly smokey. And after that it's smokey with a soft hint of salty. I will definitely be purchasing another bottle soon

    Disappointed as I had been awaiting this for years. 1st edition much nicer. Would always prefer a 15 yr old to this (either travellers or sherry aged)

    I tried this today and it's awesome. A good peaty hit with saltiness too and a rich sticky fruit barbecue finish.
