A smoky, rich 12-year-old rum from Panama's Ron Abuelo, Two Oaks has been matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in heavily-charred virgin American oak casks. Delicately smoky aromas of oak, vanilla, coffee and roasted almonds fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of sweet-and-smoky spices, roasted coffee beans and cola nuts.

Ron abuelo was one of the first rums I tried I have never been above 7 years on “abuelos “ and have tried many others but for this birthday I treated myself to this and wow!, the nose as I poured was so smooth with caramel and the first sip was like a wave on the beach, I am not a connoisseur but I find this rum is amazing, please if you have tried this and can recommend something to match please do
