Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes by Lew Bryson for Whisky Advocate
Intriguing herbal/medicinal nose, with notes of pepper, grass, dried hay, fried flowers, orange peel, and licorice. Sweet but lively and light on the palate, as the orange explodes and the whisky boldy appears, wrapped in honey and herbs. The finish is herbal and sweet as the whisky strolls off into the distance. Overall, quite complex and rewarding. 90 Points.

Good fragrance and mixture of honey also.
Good fragrance and mixture of honey also.
Had a Drambuie today for the first time in a long time, still one of my favourites. Love the bold flavours and long linger. Brings back a lot of good memories.
Not quite the same, as I had a little left from about 10years, but it's still my favorite.
I just read your tasting notes and agree with them. Some flavors are beyond my palate and fill in the mysterious combinations of uniqueness of the recipe. A good RAF friend and l used to share a flask while charging along the front nine in all the wild weather that Cambridgeshire offered every weendend of the year - a pact we made to do so. Bad idea for so many Saturdays in fall, winter and spring. Loved the Drambuie each week, the fried bread and bacon sandwiches, but the weather, not so much.
