A delicious Merlot and Malbec blend from Argentina, grown on a vineyard that sits behind Zuccardi’s flash new winery, is simplicity itself – just vines a calcareous soils. There is a wonderful herbaceous character with notes of bay leaf and thyme as well as black pepper, blueberry and wild garrigue aromas. On the palate there is plenty of juicy red fruits, the Merlot is well supported by the Malbec which gives it a bit of depth and fullness on the mid palate. This is a very easy drinking wine and perfect for a midweek tipple of when you have friends round for dinner.
