    Poison Okie,

    I have been enlightened by the GSR review below. Thank you! I tried it in the original bottle in 1968 or so when some kids dumped a bag full of liquor before the cops caught up with them. I found it on my paper route the next morning. It was Winter, it was ice cold, and so-o-o good! Yes, the new stuff is different! I just got some - finally. I hope they "dew" go back to the original version. THANKS GSR!

    I’m praying that Capari’s sale of the rights to Irish Mist will result in a return to its earlier formulation. Capari’s version, an increase in honey, or at least in sweetness–for all I know they, Campari, employed corn syrup, and to 35% ABV from the original Irish Mist content of 40%/80proof, resulted in a far inferior, IMO unacceptable, drink. My, perhaps overly generous, two star rating refers to the Capari product. A return to the original formula would receive in the neighborhood of 4.5/5.0.
