Kewin Descombes is one of the new lights of Beaujolais from the famous Descombes winemaking family. He works organically, and the results from these old vines are stunning. The nose is intense, with lots of black cherry, raspberry, a hint of liquorice and autumn leaves. The palate is full of bright fruit, a hint of Earl Grey tea and subtle spices. This is a serious Beaujolais.
