Spicy and fruity (apples and oranges), not a bad sipping rum but there are better. Pretty good for its price though.
Spicy, slightly fruity and smooth. Not bad sipping Rum for its relatively low price.
Extremely disappointed with the new bottling of the 8yo from Appleton. A lot more alocohol notes on the nose, less molasses and a much younger tasting bottle than the old bottle shape. I can't see if they have changed the blend of the rum used, but I have a feeling it's now a higher percentage of column still rum per bottle. Such a shame. I find the old bottle of Signature a more pleasant and flavorful drink than this new 8yo.
