A 2006 Blair Athol single malt from indie bottler Elixir Distillers, matured in a single hogshead for 14 years, before being bottled in August 2020 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of freshly-baked soda bread, rhubarb jam, aromatic thyme, milk chocolate biscuits and juicy pears fill the nose, complemented by notes of tart strawberries, pineapple, lemon, apple and cinnamon that build on the palate.

    Bought this on recommendation from the shop , they were not wrong . Beautiful . haven't had this one before , it was like meeting up with and old friend.only trouble it ws gone before the end of christmas
