This is a collaboration between a fruit grower and a civil servant - not two people who you would put together - who now work 29 hectares of organically certified vineyards southwest of Perpignan. This Carignan, Grenache noir and Syrah blend is full of pretty hedgerow fruits with a touch of summer pudding and wild strawberries. On the palate grippy tannins and savoury herbaceous fruit make this the ideal pairing with roasted lamb or lasagna.
