Kanaima rum celebrates the indigenous people of the Caribbean and the stories and beliefs they held. Kanaima refers to the spirit of blood vengeance when someone died of foul play. This rum is from the Versailles single wooden pot still made from Guyanese Green heart wood. On the nose you get notes of burnt butter and popcorn, papaya and green nuts. The palate has a meaty note with hints of dried fruit and spices, this is a whisky lovers rum with its savoury aromas and long length.
