A 22-year-old single malt from Fettercairn, matured in ex-bourbon casks, creating aromas of banana bread, oranges, plum, raisins, figs and ginger bread on the nose. The palate offers notes of spiced pears, caramelised orange, coffee, liquorice, cherry and plum that linger in the finish.

    Gerrymandering,

    Delicious. One of the fruitiest highlands I've tasted. Light in colour for a 22. Probably due to no sherry maturation. But doesn't need it. The complexity of fruit and sweetnesss in this expression is a joy, with vanilla then liquorice and pears being the primary flavours coming through. A wash of mixed fruits on the back. Delightfully smooth. Enjoy if you can.
