Made with a blend of eaux-de-vie from grapes grown in the Grande Champagne town of Bellevigne, Delamain Pale & Dry Centenaire is a fruity, floral XO Cognac with notes of peonies, apricots, orange and vanilla throughout the palate.
This blend is an evolution of Delamain's XO, created to celebrate Pale & Dry's 100th anniversary. This is a more intense Cognac than the standard bottling, with heightened flavours and a slightly higher ABV.Tasting Notes (1)
Joe Rogers (The Whisky Exchange)
Intensely fruity with mango, lychee, nectarine, apricot, pine nuts, wildflowers and herbal honey. Over time things get richer, showing tangerine and pannetone-like notes of sultana and candied peel.
Dry and delicate with peaches, yellow wine gums, orange bitters, Thai basil, hazelnuts, chestnuts, vanilla and Mirabelle plums.
Long and elegant with lingering stone fruit, honey and almond.
