Very soft and sweet whiskey for 18 years, it feels like a wedge of autumn, light peatiness, oak notes, the taste is multifaceted, the sweet aftertaste is pleasant, but I wanted a richer taste, it is too light on the palate!

This is every bit as good as the 10yo but not it's superior.This is still a 4.5/5 whisky and I would rank both as equals.Different drams but both excellent from an equally superb distillery

This is a fabulous single malt. A good friend and myself discovered it recently. When the bottle is first opened it has an intense smokiness on the nose. In the glass the smoke recedes somewhat, but the peatiness is more prominent. The flavour is rich and complex, with a slight harshness that becomes sweet notes after the bottle is first opened. The finish is complex and long and warming. My friend and I have now decided to visit Tobermory distillery when Covid permits to try some of their other variations. You will not be disappointed with this single malt that is worth every penny!
