A limited-edition 2011 vintage rum from Plantation, distilled in Barbados at West Indies Rum Distillery and matured Barbados for four and a half years, before being transported to France where it was aged for another four and a half years in ex-Ferrand Cognac casks. The result is aromas of oak spice, cinnamon, ginger and pepper, raisins, prunes, orange peel and hazelnuts on the nose, complemented by notes of walnuts, chocolate, caramel, nutmeg and vanilla on the palate, with hints of lively citrus zest, and dried fruits.
