A 2005 Scapa single malt from indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail, matured in a single first-fill bourbon barrel for 15 years before being bottled in September 2020 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. Aromas of vanilla, coconut, banana and caramel fill the nose, complemented by notes of poached pears, orange zest, green apple and charred oak throughout the palate, with hints of tropical fruits lingering in the finish.
