Nothing short of spectacular. A really unique dram.

As you would expect. It's basically Lagavulin 16 with a very obvious sherry finish which overpowers some of the other subtleties you find in the 16. It also seems slightly more peppery. If you like Lagavulin but prefer sherry finishes, this will certainly be for you. Personally, I'm not a sherry or wine finish fan, so I prefer others. This is still an excellent whiskey of course.
