Yes, an average 18 yo Speyside tucked away in collections and treated as an asset, just how Edrington group want it. Macallan is no longer a whisky brand, it's a speculative investment. The contents of the bottle are decent enough, yet are outshined by Glenfarclas, Glengoyne, Aberlour, or GlenDronach of similar ages that are 1/3 the price.
