Each year Taylors release a new Single Harvest Port edition from their reserves of very old cask aged Port, one of the most extensive in the region. This is the 1961 which follows on from the 1960. This is a very complex wine with notes of fig, sultana, marzipan and roasted nuts. The palate is powerful yet with a sense of elegance, dried fruits, tobacco, citrus and cedarwood swirl around and leave you with a note of butterscotch and orange marmalade.
