Pusser's Gunpowder Proof Spiced rum is a fruity and sweet rum, matured in ex-bourbon barrels for three years and infused with a secret blend of Caribbean spices. The palate offers notes of banana, milk chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and caramel that linger in the finish.

    WOW - A Spiced Rum for serious rum drinkers!..... my wife bought me this bottle as I collect rums - but also have a fondness for spiced rum. Pussers gunpowder has always been my go-to rum for its flavour and the punch that it packs at 54.5% - so I was keen to try this new variant of that same rum. Firstly its a lovely solid bottle and cork and seems slightly higher quality than the original Gunpowder. When you slip the cork out you get an immediate aroma-rush of banana, chocolate, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon and ginger. the liquid is a lovely deep brow when you pour it - making you want to sip it straight away - I initially tried it neat over ice and got all the original flavours of Pussers - with the extra taste of banana, vanilla, cocoa and ginger, great long-lingering after taste and when I added coke it was the perfect compliment. Really happy with this in my collection!!
