The 2005 Lagavulin Distillers Edition was bottled in 2020 after a decade and a half naturation. By far the most popular of the series, this double-matured Lagavulin has had a finishing period in sweet, sticky Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. A whisky that never disappoints.

    Had a sample of this with a birthday gift, absolutely gorgeous. Full body, almost sticks to your tongue just like you’ve taken a bite of a rich sweet fruity cake, the smoke did not over it over, this was very moreish.

    Exquisite whisky, with plenty of body and richness. The flavours of toffee and dark chocolate pudding are striking, while hints of redcurrant and hazelnut, mingle with intense smokiness
