A 1987 Balmenach single malt from indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail, matured in a single refill sherry hogshead for 32 years before being bottled in October 2020 as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. Aromas of apple crumble, cinnamon and nutmeg fill the nose, complemented by notes of black pepper, dark chocolate, orange, almonds and dried tobacco throughout the palate.
