The 38th edition of the world-renowned Midleton Very Rare series, bottled in early 2021, is the first release in this series to have been bottled by master distiller Kevin O'Gorman. Aromas of honeysuckle, geranium, roasted coffee beans, salted caramel, honeycomb, nectarines, fresh ginger and nutmeg fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple, lime, kiwi, vanilla, dark chocolate, clove, nutmeg and rich pot still spices throughout the palate.

    I had the 2016 Midleton and had to have a bottle. This is by far the tip of the mountain for Irish Whisky. There is none better, so smooth and flavorful. Just sits mellow on your tonge for a few mins. This is by far one of my favorites to keep in my personal bar. Worth every cent.
