    Not Sam,

I would say this is actually quite a good whisky. I can only imagine this is a young whisky but it honestly doesn’t taste that way. You can spend £50 for something like Filey Bay or a bit less for Cotswold and this is honestly just better. It’s much richer in fruitiness, I can’t seem to find that ethanol flavour. I’d say it’s the sweet brother of the woody Black Bottle. In fact, mixing the pair in a barrel could be quite special It’s not 5 star because it’s not complex. But the one thing it does do, especially for the price (22 quid for me) is brilliant

    NS,

Good crowd pleaser, sweeter notes and less smokey for whiskey beginners. The red wine flavour comes through in the scent and adds to a great all round taste.
