A limited-edition Ardbeg single malt, Scorch is matured in intensely charred ex-bourbon barrels, creating aromas of hazelnuts, aniseed, oily smoke, garden herbs, pine and fennel that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of boiled sweets, tar, liquorice, clove, pepper, heathery peat smoke and sandalwood.

    The taste exceeded expectations. It's smoky and sweet, and it's full of Ardbeg feeling. I feel that Ardbeg Day whiskey is getting better year by year.

    Wow! I was expecting this to be a style over substance bottling but now wrong was I! The charred cask is unmistakable and unlike anything I’ve tasted before, props to Ardbeg for providing something unique and delicious! One of their better limited edition releases for sure.
