The second release in Torabhaig's Legacy series single malt, Allt Gleann is a smoky whisky made with a small parcel of casks from 2017 and 2018, each filled with heavily-peated whisky. Aromas of heathery smoke, blossom honey, barley sugars and salty sea air fill the nose, complemented by notes of vanilla cream, bonfire smoke, hot tar, oily brine and sweet spices throughout the palate.

A cracking young smokey malt whisky. I am a fan of both Islay and Skye whisky i.e. Talisker and this is a firm favourite now. Good tastes of peat, brine and sea salt.

Excellent young peated malt. A lot of depth in flavour for such a young dram. Looking forward to what the next release of this distillery will be.

A good smoky whisky. I compared this with Talisker Storm, and the Torabhaig came out as clearly the better of the two.

Allt Gleann is wonderful! Clean, fresh, simple, good-natured, peaty and vibrant....all at three years in the barrel. Kudos to Torabhaig. I will be the first in line when Torabhaig 10 arrives in 2028!
