Glengoyne Balbaina is matured in first-fill European oak oloroso sherry casks from the winemakers of Balbaina, creating aromas of spiced raisins, biscuits, maple syrup and cloves that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of brown sugar, dried apple, toffee, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, clove-studded orange and rich sherry that linger in the finish.

There is a light, not very pronounced oak oloroso sherry, the aftertaste goes away quickly. The second time I would not buy, for one time!
